Zoom integration
Connect Zoom to your Midlyr workspace so our compliance testing engine can fetch available call transcripts and meeting metadata for compliance tests.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A Midlyr workspace administrator must connect the integration.
- A Zoom account owner or administrator must authorize the requested access.
- Call review requires a HubSpot connection with Calls collection enabled and a configured Call Monitoring workflow in the same workspace.
- Call review requires an available Zoom transcript or supported cloud recording audio. Local computer recordings and Zoom Phone are not supported.
Add the app
Section titled “Add the app”- Sign in to Midlyr.
- Open Alignment → Integrations in your workspace.
- Select Zoom under Add a connection.
- Sign in to Zoom. Review the requested permissions. Approve the connection.
- Return to Midlyr. Check that Zoom appears under Your connections.
For connection help, see Troubleshooting or contact support@midlyr.ai.
Use the integration
Section titled “Use the integration”Call review
Section titled “Call review”Midlyr reviews Zoom meetings linked to HubSpot call records. Connecting Zoom alone does not import every meeting.
- Open the HubSpot connection’s Sync scope. Enable Calls. Save your selection.
- Use Sync now to collect linked calls.
- Find the call in the Calls feed.
- Open its Call Monitoring test run to read the results and transcript evidence.
For recurring meetings, the HubSpot call reference must identify the correct meeting occurrence. Available content depends on Zoom permissions, recording settings, and retention.
Meeting information in Chat
Section titled “Meeting information in Chat”Where enabled for your account, Chat can find hosts, scheduled meetings, recorded meetings, meeting details, participants, and transcript availability.
For example, ask: “Show available recorded meetings from the last 30 days, including their hosts.”
Specify the meeting date for recurring meetings. Results depend on your Zoom permissions and retained records. Recorded-meeting searches include only meetings with retained recordings.
Chat currently returns transcript availability and download information. It cannot summarize the conversation from that information alone.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Zoom connects, but no calls arrive | Enable Calls in the HubSpot sync scope. Check Collect from and that both connections use the same workspace. Select Sync now. |
| The transcript is unavailable or references the wrong occurrence | Check transcript or cloud recording availability, permissions, and retention in Zoom. Check the HubSpot call’s meeting reference and occurrence date. |
| A call arrives, but no tests run | Ask your workspace administrator to check the Call Monitoring workflow, call mapping, and applicable test configuration. |
| Authorization or permission errors | Use a Zoom owner or administrator account. Check app approval. Select Reauthenticate from the Zoom connection menu to approve the requested access. |
Remove the app
Section titled “Remove the app”In Midlyr
Section titled “In Midlyr”- Open Alignment → Integrations.
- Open the Zoom connection’s Manage connection menu.
- Select Disconnect. Confirm the removal.
This removes the connection and its stored OAuth credentials. Future requests through that connection stop.
In Zoom
Section titled “In Zoom”- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Open Manage → Added Apps.
- Select Midlyr.
- Select Remove. Confirm the removal.
Removal revokes the app’s access to your Zoom account. A Zoom administrator may need to remove an admin-managed app.
Also disconnect Zoom in Midlyr to remove its connection record.
Stored data
Section titled “Stored data”Previously collected transcripts, test results, and evidence are not automatically deleted. To request removal, email support@midlyr.ai with your workspace and the records to remove.
Data removal remains subject to retention obligations and your customer agreement. See the Midlyr Privacy Policy.
